Deven Parlikar (President & CEO)
Deven Parlikar is currently active with HFS Consultants, as a lead consultant on many healthcare turnaround initiatives. Deven Parlikar was the Executive Director and CEO of the Indian Health Council, Inc. Deven has a BA in Business Economics from the San Diego State University and an MBA from University of California, Irvine. Deven has worked in public health and the community health center setting for over 15 years. During his tenure as the CEO of the Indian Health Council, Inc., a number of new prevention and public health programs and services have been made available to patients and clients of IHC. In addition to his responsibilities at IHC, Deven is also the Principle Investigator for the NIH funded California Native American Research Center for Health and the Indian Health Service funded California Native American Epidemiology Collaborative In his community involvement, Deven serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Council of Community Clinics, on the State of California’s Council on Multicultural Health, the Advisory Board for the College of Health & Human Services at San Diego State University and the Board of Directors of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. In 2005, the US Department of Health & Human Services named Deven, CEO of the year for Managerial Excellence, and conferred the designation of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) for his efforts in securing equitable healthcare for all Americans.
  

Milan Patel (Chairman & CIO)
With over 19 years of experience in the high technology and software development industry, Milan Patel comes to Avantiya Health from a varied and successful IT background. Most recently Mr. Patel was President of Tandon Information Solutions, a global software development company, part of the Tandon Group of companies, where he began as Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Prior to TIS, Mr. Patel held several executive management roles with First American Financial; an NYSE traded company, and led FA Credco to numerous successful acquisitions as head of their IT division. Mr. Patel holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, both form the University of Southern California, and has done extensive post graduate work in Systems Management. He is a member of several professional organizations including, the IEEE, the National Society of Professional Engineers, Association of Computing Machinery, and the American Management Association. He has been a keynote speaker and lecturer at various technology conferences.
  

Corinna Nyquist (Chief Nursing Officer)
Corinna Nyquist, a Registered Nurse has been a Chief Nursing Officer in charge of overall administration of an ambulatory health center. She also has experience working with medical/surgical and acute care departments within a hospital and ambulatory health center. She serves on several national commissions that oversee benchmarking healthcare quality for US hospitals and health centers. She also serves as a subject matter expert on clinical issues for the US Federal Indian Health Service. Corinna has a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University and was honored by the California State University, San Marcos in 2006 for her relentless efforts in furthering nursing education and the cause of nurse driven medical care. Corinna will serve as the Chief Nursing Officer for Avantiya Health, Inc., and the Dean of the Training Institute for JCAHO Accredited Nurse Certification.
  
  

Sheilamarie Racicot (VP Marketing & Business Development)
Sheilamarie Racicot is currently the Director of the Human Services Department at Indian Health Council, Inc. in San Diego County California. Ms. Racicot a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has been working in the Native American Community for over 18 years. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Behavioral Sciences from California State University Dominguez Hills and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from National University. As the Human Services Director she is responsible for clinical programs and the development of grant funded and research projects. Programs include psychiatry; individual, child, family, couple and group counseling; domestic violence and sexual assault services; youth and adult substance abuse counseling; clinical prevention services; HIV prevention ; youth education and prevention programs, as well as a cultural component that includes traditional healing/sweat lodge activities. Ms. Racicot currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California State Association for Rural Health Care and is a member of the Indian Health Services Youth Residential Treatment task force. She has been appointed to the Native American Constituent Committee for the California State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. She sits on the Native American Research Center for Health as a Scientific Advisory Board Member and is a recent member of the Healthcare Pathways Continuum Coordinating Council (HPCCC). Sheilamarie will provide organizational behavior consultation and serve as the VP of Marketing and Business Development for Avantiya Health, Inc.
  

Vishwanath B. Iyer (VP Facilities Development)
Vish obtained his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Madras, Chennai, India. He also holds an advanced diploma in both French & German. He has worked as a teacher, interpreter & translator of French (part-time) in both India and Africa. In 1996 Vish came to the United States to obtain an advanced degree, he attended both University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University to obtain an advanced graduate certificate in Business Management and a Masters degree in Information and Decision Systems. Since 2000 Vish has worked on multiple large scale software implementation projects across a range of different industries from the Military to Health Care, as an oracle software implementation engineer. In 2005 Vish took the interesting step of quitting his software position to become a full time real estate investor. He has acquired to date more than $40 million worth of real estate ranging from single family homes, to apartment complexes to office complexes to land in six different states. He also has extensive experience in real estate transactions (through personal holdings) in India and has relationships with some of the biggest developers, realtors and lenders in India. Vish will serve as the VP of Facilities Development for Avantiya Health, Inc.
  

Heidi Kvitli (Chief Administrative Officer)
Over the last 25 years, Heidi Kvitli has worked for various hospitals, clinics, and ancillary health areas. Most recently, Heidi Kvitli was the Administrative Services Director of the Indian Health Council, Inc. During her time at Indian Health Council, Inc, she was responsible for Human Resources, Emergency Preparedness, and Facilities. Prior to Indian Health Council, Inc, Heidi was the CFO for a private Home Care Agency. She has 20 years experience in Revenue Cycle Management. Ms. Kvitli holds a B.A degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University and a MBA degree from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of San Diego chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management. Heidi will serve as the Chief Administrative Officer for Avantiya Health, Inc.
