In our original proposal developed in Nov 2006, Avantiya Health LLC created a concept of a health campus that would be built on a 20 acre site. This campus would include a 250 bed hospital, an outpatient pavilion, a holistic health center, med spa, a nurse training and certification institute and an on campus resort. This idea espouses the “one stop shop” concept in healthcare, wherein patients don’t have to go to multiple places to seek the variety of healthcare services that they desire to access. Moreover, this campus would be located away from the chaos of the “big city” and would promote a sense of wellness in its physical planning and orientation. The goal for this project is to create a harmony and synergy between age old traditional medicines with modern allopathic protocols so that patients have the choice of using non invasive holistic protocols for pain management, disease management and overall wellbeing, while being treated with modern modalities to ultimately become well and stay well. This prevention focused, wellness model follows the dictum of getting one’s body a much needed tuning at periodic intervals under supervision from experts in the fields of ayurvedic, homeopathic and allopathic medicine, all under one roof. Moreover, a panel of international health practitioners will provide telemedicine services to this campus in a variety of areas. A nurse training and placement institute will train nurses to become certified using a Joint Commission International Accredited curriculum so that they are not only employable at Avantiya’s facility but also help create a travel nurse program to place nurses in hospitals and health centers around the world. | | |
